High! My name is Rebecca. I’m a writer and cannabis enthusiast. (Sometimes also a stoner poet, currently a dog mom and former but forever budtender). 

I spent three years working as a budtender, so I’ve grown a habit of shopping at dispensaries like Target. My time behind the counter also gave me insight into the deep complexities of legacy and legalization and the potential cannabis has to affect the overall well-being of the human experience.  

As I’ve developed an understanding of how to navigate the retail shelves and learned that budtenders, and retail space in general, have the crucial role of communicating information and the value of brands to customers. California is robust with cannabis brands. Some are long-time favorites, and others are new gems to be discovered.

I’ve found that many brands are rooted in the deep cultural fabric of California cannabis, believe in its magnificence, respect its history, and want the best for those that choose to consume. My work with Flowerhead is to share products I love that encompass these values in hopes that if you are interested in them, you’ll be connected to them with ease.
